| Morrison Plantation Parking Issues |

Dear Residents,
The HOA Board is awared of the email from Lake Norman Elementary and other Schools regarding the parking issues in our neighborhood. The board had contacted the Town of Mooresville to discuss the matter.
Meanwhile, please be awared that the way the cars have been parked on the streets in our neighborhood are effecting the school buses and our kids' safety.
Furthermore, in the event of emergencies: fire trucks, ambulances and police cars may have challenging times navigating through our streets.

A message from LAKE NORMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Our school and our central office have had numerous complaints from residents in Morrison Plantation. Students are trashing private property, cars are parking on yards, and students are not on the sidewalk at their assigned stops. We ask that you be respectful of your neighbors and that students remain at their assigned stops. In addition, we have had several close calls and one recent accident due to cars parking on both sides of the street throughout the neighborhood making it incredibly difficult for buses to maneuver. We have been advised by our transportation department that if complaints continue, we may have to move all stops to the pool area which is central community property. If you have contact with the homeowners association, you may want to discuss parking issues to make it easier for buses and emergency vehicles to navigate the neighborhood safely.
